Greater Noida extension: Central government approves the project
The central government has given its approval 2.6km extension of the Noida Metro’s 29.7 km Aqua Line. As per Noida Metro Rail Corporation (NMRC), the extension would be from Depot station to Bodaki in Greater Noida, where a multi-modal logistics hub is proposed.
The project is estimated to cost Rs 416.34 crore and would be built over 3 years. Meanwhile other two extensions, 11.56km one from Botanical Garden to Noida Sector 142, and a 5km link from Noida Sector 51 to Knowledge Park 5 in Greater Noida West, await the nod of the government.
