Bangalore Metro: 6 firms place bids for project related to Phase 3
Bengaluru Metro Rail Corporation Limited (BMRCL), has informed that 6 firms have placed bids for the 3 Detailed Design Consultant (DDC) contracts of the 44.65 km Bangalore Metro Phase 3 project. Phase 3 involves the construction of a new 32.15 km Orange Line connecting Kempapura – JP Nagar 4th Phase via 22 stations along the Outer Ring Road (ORR), and a new 12.5 km line connecting Kadabagare – Hosahalli via 9 stations.
The bidders for the project are:
- AECOM Singapore Pte. Ltd.
- L&T Infrastructure Engineering Ltd.
- Meinhardt (Singapore) Pte. Ltd.
- Shirish Patel and Associates Consultants Pvt. Ltd.
- SMEC International Pty. Ltd.
- SYSTRA MVA Consulting (India)
DDC-1’s scope includes the Orange Line’s 17.121 km section from JP Nagar 4th Phase Station to BDA Complex Nagarbhavi Station.
DDC-2 covers the Orange Line’s 12.848 km section from Sumanahalli Cross Station to Kempapura Station.
Package DDC-3 includes designing the entire 12.5 km Kadabagare – Hosahalli line.
