Coca-Cola plans expansion to infuse Rs 3,000 crore in Gujarat
Soft drink major Coca-Cola has planned expansion and has got 1.6 lakh sq. mtrs. of prime land in Sanand, near Ahmedabad, from the Gujarat state government. The land is for the establishment of a pioneering concentrate manufacturing plant, located at the Gujarat Industrial Development Corporation-II (GIDC-II) at Bol.
The firm would infuse approximately Rs 3,000 crore for the development of this state-of-the-art plant. This project aligns seamlessly with the ongoing expansion endeavors of Coca-Cola’s bottling partner, Hindustan Coca-Cola Beverages (HCCBPL), known for its beverage bottling plants in Goblej, Kheda district, and Sanand, Ahmedabad district.
