L&T's arm bags significant orders
Renowned firm Larsen and Turbo (L&T) has secured significant orders between Rs 1,000 crore to 2,500 crore. The firm's Buildings and Factories (B&F) arm has secured orders from a developer to construct commercial towers at two locations in Mumbai. The work involves the construction of the tallest commercial building in India of 300.05 meters, which includes four-level basements and 2 towers of 70 floors & 50 floors respectively with a combined BUA of 3.4 million square feet (sq ft). The work is to be completed within 40 months.
The project also entails the construction of a large commercial building of 5.1 million sq ft which includes four-level basements and 2 towers of 19 floors each with a combined BUA of 5.1 million sqft. The towers are to be done in 35 months.
