Elevated corridor project: Karnataka government floats tender for project worth Rs 852 crores
The state government of Karnataka has floated a tender for the construction of a 5.2 km elevated corridor connecting Old Madras Road and Electronic City flyover in Bengaluru.
This project is worth Rs 852 crores, and the corridor will pass through Swami Vivekananda Metro Station, Indiranagar, Old Airport Road, Hosur Road, and Silk Board Junction. The plan is to improve connectivity between key residential, commercial, and IT hubs while reducing traffic congestion on some of the city’s busiest roads.
