Mumbai Metro: 11 firms place bid for contract related to Green line
Mumbai Metro Rail Corporation Ltd. (MMRC) has informed that 11 firms have placed bids for conducting a geotechnical soil investigation for 18 km Mumbai Metro Line-11 (Green Line) which will connect Anik Bus Depot – SPM Chowk via 15 underground stations.
The survey aims to have sufficient data on the sub-soil to assist with preparing the detailed design of structures and the use of appropriate machinery, methods & technology during construction. It would help ensure the least possible damage to existing structures during the construction phase.
