Mumbai Metro: Leena Powertech emerges lowest bidder for electrification contract
Mumbai Metropolitan Region Development Authority (MMRDA) has declared Leena Powertech Engineers Pvt. Ltd as the lowest bidder (L one bidder) for the 25 kV AC OHE electrification contract of Mumbai Metro’s Red Line (Line-7A & Line-9). Lines 7A & 9 are under construction as extensions of the operational 16.5 km Line-7 (Gundavali – Dahisar East) by J Kumar Infraprojects.
The firm placed a bid of Rs 122.09 crore. As per the tender, the scope of work involves design, manufacture, supply, inst., T and C of 33 kV and 25kV cabling work, complete 25kV OHE system along with switching station, 33kV aux. power dist. system including 33/0.415 kV ASS and complete SCADA system.
