RLDA invites bids for land near Surat railway station
The Government-owned Rail Land Development Authority (RLDA) has floated tenders inviting bids for the land near Surat railway station. Bids are invited for the grant of sub-leasehold rights for commercial development, operation, and maintenance of vertical space in the multi-level car parking (MLCP) facility at the east side of the station.
The winning bidder would be responsible for the integrated commercial development, which is expected to include retail, office, hospitality, or mixed-use facilities that align with urban transit needs. As per RLDA, the project involves approximately 67,020 sq. mtrs. of total built-up area (BUA), and development will take place on a plot spanning 2,765 sq. mtrs.
The estimated value of the work is Rs 88 crore, and the last date for submitting a bid is June 6, 2025.
