To Develop Commercial Electric Vehicle Mahindra & Mahindra Sign Pact With Israel Based Automotive Start-up
Vehicle manufacturer Mahindra & Mahindra has entered into a pact with Israel based REE Automotive for the production of commercial Electric Vehicle (EV). A memorandum of understanding (MOU) has been signed between the two firms for the development and manufacturing of electric commercial vehicles for global markets. While REE brings with it a revolutionary electric vehicle corner module and integrating platform technology, Mahindra & Mahindra provides well-established vehicle design, engineering, sourcing capability, and manufacturing assets as a partner. The technology is expected to fill the demand for 250,000 electric commercial vehicle units globally in the next few years.
