Toyota to set new unit in Bengaluru, to infuse Rs 3,300 crore
Japanese automotive manufacturer Toyota would invest Rs 3,300 crore to set up a new factory in Bengaluru. This will take the company's cumulative investments in the country to nearly Rs 20,000 crore and add a fresh capacity of one lakh units to its production by 2026.
New plant, which would be third for the company’s local joint venture Toyota Kirloskar Motor (TKM), will also come up in Karnataka at its existing manufacturing location outside Bengaluru.
