Vadhvan port project: NHAI to construct road project worth Rs 2,881 crore
National Highways Authority of India (NHAI) would oversee the road link construction to the proposed Vadhvan port in Maharashtra. The project worth Rs 2,881 crore will be executed using an engineering, procurement, and construction (EPC) model.
As per updates, NHAI will submit the proposal for approval of the Union Minister of Road Transport and Highways. Jawaharlal Nehru Port Authority is expected to complete land acquisition for the road and rail links to Vadhvan Port by March 2025 and the work is expected to start in May 2025.
