Adani Green gets provisonal approval for wind power projects
The renewable energy arm of Adani Group, Adani Green Energy has received provisional approvals for two wind power projects in Sri Lanka. Projects involve an investment of over USD 500 million.
Country's Energy Minister Kanchana Wijesekara said that he met officials of the Ceylon Electricity Board (CEB) and Sustainable Development Authority on Tuesday to discuss the progress of renewable energy projects. Approval is given for 2 wind projects of 286 MW in Mannar and 234 MW in Pooneryn.
