Ahmedabad Metro: Cabinet clears phase 2A worth over Rs 2,169 crores
The central government has approved the construction of Phase 2A of the Ahmedabad Metro Rail Project. Spread over 6.032 km, the new corridor will connect Koteshwar Road to Ahmedabad Airport and is estimated to cost Rs 2,169.04 crore.
The corridor comprises 5 stations: Ashram Road, Koteshwar Prachin Mandir, Sabarmati River, Sardar Nagar and Airport. Out of this, four are elevated stations and one underground station.
