Dixon Technologies signs agreement with Gemtek to make data centre equipment in India
Noida-based Electronics Manufacturing Services (EMS) provider Dixon Technologies has signed a binding term sheet with Taiwan-based Gemtek Technology Co.Ltd. The 60:40 partnership (Dixon having 60%) is for manufacturing Small Form-Factor Pluggable (SFP) optical transceivers, Bidirectional Optical Subassembly (BOSA) modules and other telecom products in India.
According to the firm, the partnership aims to address the growing demand for high-speed networking and data centre infrastructure.
