BHEL bags order from DVC worth Rs 6, 200 crore
Government-owned Bharat Heavy Electricals Limited (BHEL) has bagged an order worth Rs 6,200 crore from the Damodar Valley Corporation (DVC). The order is for the Steam Generator Island Package of 2x660 MW Raghunathpur Thermal Power Station Phase-II project at West Bengal's Purulia district.
The scope of the work involves Supply and Erection, Testing & Commissioning works – Steam generators and Auxiliaries, ESP, FGD systems, Ash Handling systems, electrical and C&I, and associated civil works.
The period of completion of work is 48 to 52 months.
