Uttar Pradesh to invest Rs 4200 crore in Agra to Lucknow expressway
The Uttar Pradesh state government has planned to infuse Rs 4,200 crore into the development of expressway infrastructure in the state. As per the update, the proposed 50 Km Agra-Lucknow expressway that would connect to Purvanchal Expressway would require Rs 3,200 crore for construction and an additional Rs 1,000 crore to acquire 598 hectares of land.
UP Expressways Industrial Development Authority (UPEIDA) informed that it has begun the work and has roped in consultants to prepare the detailed project report (DPR) carrying out surveys in the villages to finalize the alignment of the project.
