Chennai Metro plans double-decker flyover in Coimbatore
Chennai Metro Rail Limited (CMRL) has plans to develop 3 Km to construct a double-decker flyover in collaboration with the state highways (special project) from Goldwins to Le Méridien Hotel. As per the updates, the CMRL will operate metro rail on the upper deck, and the lower deck will be used for vehicular traffic.
The state highways (special project) is constructing an elevated corridor from Uppilipalayam to Goldwins on Avinashi Road for a stretch of 10.1km.
