Budget 2024: Rs 10 lakh crore to be invested in PM Awas Yojana
The government in the Budget 2024 has announced Rs 10 lakh crore investment for the flagship Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana (PMAY) scheme including central assistance of Rs 2.2 lakh crore over the next five years. Further construction of 3 crore additional houses will be facilitated under the PMAY scheme. Out of which 2 crore will come in rural areas under PMAY (Grameen).
