Rockwool group to set new factory in Cheyyar, to invest Rs 550 crore
Danish mineral wool manufacturing company Rockwool Group has plans to build a new factory in Cheyyar with an investment of Rs 550 crore. As per the firm it wants to meet the increasing demand for non-combustible stone wool insulation and to expand its presence in the fast-growing South Asia market.
The factory will cover 50,000 square meters within a 56-acre and will have a production capacity of 50,000 tonnes against 40,000 tonnes in Dahej as per the firm.
