Dabur to set manufacturing unit in Tamil Nadu, to invest Rs 400 crore
Multinational consumer goods company Dabur has plans to set up a manufacturing plant in Tamil Nadu, marking its first in South India, with an investment of Rs 400 crore. This comes after a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) signed with the Tamil Nadu Government to establish the plant in the SIPCOT Food Park in Tindivanam, Villupuram district.
As per the firm, the investment will commence with an initial phase of Rs 135 crore and is projected to reach Rs 400 crore over the next 5 years.
