Chennai Metro: Jakson Ltd. emerges lowest bidder for contract related to line 5
Chennai Metro Rail Ltd. (CMRL) has declared Jakson Ltd. as the lowest bidder (L one bidder) for its tender related to Line-5’s electrical & mechanical (E&M), fire protection, ventilation and air-conditioning contract C5-EM-03. The firm placed a bid of Rs 201.50 crore.
The work includes system works at 10 elevated stations, 6 underground stations, underground tunnels between Kolathur – Nathamuni stations, and a viaduct between Madhavaram Milk Colony – Grain Market (Koyambedu Market) stations. As per tender scope or work covers supply, installation, testing, commissioning and training of electrical, plumbing, fire protection, VAC Works, and BMS system From Madhavaram Milk Colony Station (Excluding) CH 76.000 to Grain Market Station (Excluding) CH 16399.716 for Corridor-5 of Chennai Metro Rail Project, Phase-II.
