Essar Port likely to emerge as highest bidder for work at Tuna Tekra
Marine infrastructure development firm Essar Ports Ltd is likely to emerge as the highest bidder for the construction of a multipurpose cargo berth at Tuna Tekra outside Kandla Creek.
As per ETInfra.com, the project is worth Rs 1,686.66 crores and is designed to handle 18.33 million tonnes (mt) of cargo, excluding liquids and containers. Essar Ports placed a royalty bid of Rs 60 per tonne for the terminal.
