Google set to manufacture its Pixel Phones in Tamil Nadu
Tech sector major Google would soon start local production of its flagship Pixel smartphones in Tamil Nadu, informed the state chief minister M.K. Stalin. The manufacturing facility will be set up near Chennai in collaboration with Foxconn, a leading contract electronics manufacturer.
This comes after Google announced its plans to manufacture Pixel smartphones in India during the ‘Google for India 2023’ event.
