Google planning to take 22.5 acres space in Navi Mumbai
Tech major Google's parent firm Alphabet Inc is in advanced talks to buy a 22.5-acre land parcel in Navi Mumbai’s Juinagar. The space would be used for Google's first-ever captive data center in India. Presently the land is leased to Gramercy Trade Industries at approximately Rs 850 crore.
The land is owned by Maharashtra Industrial Development Corporation (MIDC).
