Investment worth USD 900 million planned by Adani Group
Multinational conglomerate Adani Group has plans to make investments in Tanzania. The firm is in talks with Tanzania for a USD 900 million public-private partnership project to construct high-voltage power lines. The African nation is negotiating with the Adani Group and UK company Gridworks Development Partners for public-private partnerships. Negotiation also includes USD 300 million in power-line projects.
Tanzania has awarded Adani Group a 30-year concession in May to operate the main container terminal at the port of Dar es Salaam.
