Daikin invests Rs 1,400 crore in India Unit
Japanese multinational conglomerate Daikin has pumped in Rs 1,400 crore into its Indian subsidiary, marking its largest capital infusion so far into the business to boost local manufacturing. These funds will support the expansion of the Sri City plant in Andhra Pradesh, aiming to increase localization of AC components.
The capital was infused in two tranches- Rs 600 crore in June and Rs 800 crore in August.
