GAIL signs deal with AM Green for renewable energy projects
Government-owned GAIL has signed a pact with solar energy firm AM Green to set up 2.5 GW of renewable projects jointly. As per the pact, the two firms would undertake studies for a long-term supply of around 350,000 tonnes per annum of CO2 generated by GAIL in its gas processing plants to produce e-Methanol.
As per the update the proposed renewable projects could supply continuous power, supported by Greenko’s pump storage projects.
