ITI bags orders worth Rs 64 crore from Odisha and Mumbai
Government-owned telecom product maker ITI Limited has bagged orders worth Rs 64 crore. The order includes an order worth Rs 35 crore from Sambalpur University, Odisha, and a Rs 29.14 crore order from Central Railways, Mumbai.
Order from Sambalpur University is for Wi-Fi & LAN. The order from Central Railways is for an integrated Security System. Sambalpur University project involves establishing campus-wide Wi-Fi and LAN across 80 locations, with supply, installation, and commissioning, along with 3 years of maintenance.
Central Railways contract focuses on implementing an integrated security system with IP-based video surveillance at six railway stations in Mumbai, including Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj Terminus, Dadar, and Thane. The work is to be completed within 12 months includes installing over 1,400 cameras and offers five years of annual maintenance support after the initial warranty period.
