PM KUSUM: Odisha floats tender for 10,000 solar water pumps
The Odisha government's body, Odisha Renewable Energy Development Agency (OREDA) has issued a request for selection inviting bids for setting up 10,000 off-grid solar water pumps of capacities ranging from 1 HP to 7.5 HP under Component-B of the PM-KUSUM program. As per the update, the scope of work involves designing, manufacturing, supplying, transporting, installing, testing, and commissioning the solar water pumps.
The program aims to replace traditional diesel-operated pumps with solar-powered alternatives. The last date for bid submission is February 2nd, 2025.
