Jindal Ferrous commissions an integrated steel complex in Jajpur
Jindal Steel Group's firm Jindal Ferrous (JFL) has commissioned an integrated steelmaking complex in Jajpur, Odisha. The project includes a sinter plant, a blast furnace, and a 2.2 million tonnes per annum (MTPA) steel melting shop, along with associated infrastructure.
It is built with an investment of Rs 5,000 crore and comes equipped with systems for recycling metallurgical waste and using process gases across operations. According to the firm, it has deployed automation and process optimisation technologies to improve operational efficiency and process stability.
