Spray Engineering to develop 2G ethanol biorefinery at Dhanaura
Mohali-based Spray Engineering Devices Limited (SED) has received approval from the Ministry of Petroleum & Natural Gas (MoPNG) for the development of a Second Generation (2G) Ethanol Biorefinery at Wave Sugar, Dhanaura, Amroha, Uttar Pradesh.
The project will be India's first privately developed commercial-scale 2G ethanol biorefinery. It is being developed under PM JI-VAN Yojana and will have a capacity of 91 KLPD. Under this Yojana, the firm will get assistance of Rs 150 crore for the project.
