HNGIL to invest around Rs 500 crore for expansion of manufacturing capacity
The subsidiary of the Africa-based Madhvani-Turner Group, Hindusthan National Glass & Industries Ltd (HNGIL), has plans to invest Rs 300 - Rs 500 crore over the next five years to bolster manufacturing capacity.
This comes as the firm has received several orders during its Corporate Insolvency Resolution Period (CIRP), which are being delivered in the current financial year.
The firm saw a change in ownership following the acquisition by Independent Sugar Corporation Ltd for Rs 2,250 crore in September 2025 during an insolvency process.
