Navi Mumbai airport project: Maharashtra CM says inauguration would happen by 30th September
The chief minister of Maharashtra, Devendra Fadnavis, informed that the Navi Mumbai International Airport (NMIA) would be inaugurated on September 30, 2025. He said that the Navi Mumbai airport authority and CIDCO would double or triple the 13,000 workers currently working there to finish the work on time.
94 percent of the airport’s physical work is complete, including runways and the terminal building, and all licenses required for commercial operations are in place.
