New electronics hub planned near Noida International Airport
The Yamuna Expressway Industrial Development Authority (YEIDA) has plans to develop an electronics technology hub in Sector 10, close to the upcoming Noida International Airport. Spread over 206 acres, the project is scheduled for completion by January 2028 and would take an investment of Rs 4.5 billions.
Centre has sanctioned Rs 1.44 billion under the Electronics Manufacturing Cluster (EMC) 2.0 scheme for the hub, while YEIDA will fund the remaining Rs 3.4 billion. Out of 206 acres, Havells India has been allotted 50 acres. It would invest Rs 8 billion to set up a manufacturing plant expected to be operational by 2026.
The remaining 156 acres comprise 66 industrial plots of various sizes and 39 acres earmarked for roads, utilities, and green zones.
