IndiGrid comissions new BESS project in Sanand
Publicly listed power sector Infrastructure Investment Trust (InvIT), IndiGrid, has commissioned a 180 MW/360 MWh battery energy storage system (BESS) project in Sanand, Gujarat. As per the firm, this is one of the largest utility-scale standalone battery storage deployments at a single location in India.
The project is developed for Gujarat Urja Vikas Nigam Limited (GUVNL) and is expected to generate an annual revenue exceeding Rs 97 crore.
