Regional ring road project: NHAI floats tender worth over Rs 5,554 crore
National Highways Authority of India (NHAI) floats tender worth Rs 5,554.02 crore related to regional ring road (RRR) project in Hyderabad. The tenders are related to the construction of the northern part of the road from Sangareddy to Choutuppal. The 161.5 km northern part would have a 4-lane access-controlled greenfield regional expressway. Work is to be executed in 5 packages:
Package 1, 34.5 km long is from Girmapur village at Sangareddy to Reddipallem, estimated to cost Rs 1,529.19 crore
Package 2, 26 km long is from Reddipalle to Islampur, estimated to cost Rs 1,114.8 crore
Package 3 is 23km long and is from Islampur to Pragnapur, estimated to cost Rs 1,184.81 crore
Package 4 is 43 km from Pragnapur to Rayagiri, estimated to cost Rs 1,728.22 crore
Package 5 is 35 km from Rayagiri village to Tangadpalle village, estimated to cost Rs 1,547 crore
