Vedanta plans investmnet worth Rs 1 lakh crore in Rajasthan
Mining major Vedanta Group has plans to invest Rs 1 lakh crore in Rajasthan across oil and gas, zinc, and renewable energy operations in the state. The investment would include Rs 30,000 crore for zinc and silver production, Rs 35,000 crore for oil and gas capacity, and Rs 50,000 crore for developing 10,000 MW of renewable power.
Hindustan Zinc (HZL) where the company has a major stake would also be setting up a 1 million tonne per annum fertilizer plant in Rajasthan.
