Solar park projects: Andhra Pradesh government clears land for two solar parks
The government of Andhra Pradesh has cleared the land allocation for two ultra-mega solar parks in Kadapa and Kurnool. These projects will have a planned capacity of 1,000 MW, respectively, and will boost the clean energy sector in the Southern state.
As per updates, the government has identified 466.54 acres in Mylavaram mandal of YSR Kadapa district and approximately 737.66 acres in Orvakal mandal of Kurnool district. These land parcels would be leased for a period of 33 years.
