AM/NS India steel plant in Anakapalli gets environmental nod
Country's largest greenfield steel plant, AM/ NS's Anakapalli plant in Andhra Pradesh, is all set to go. The firm has secured environmental approval and land for an 8.2 million tonnes per annum facility.
The project involves an investment of Rs 80,000 crore, and work is expected to start in 2025. Later on, the capacity would be expanded to 24 MTPA.
