HCC bags contract worth over Rs 1,662 crores from BMC
Construction and engineering firm Hindustan Construction Company (HCC) has bagged an order worth Rs 1,662.27 crores from Brihanmumbai Municipal Corporation (BMC). The order is related to the Goregaon–Mulund Link Road (GMLR) Phase IV.
The scope of the work under Phase 1 covers the construction of a second-level flyover and free-left movements at grade, with the flyover 1,330 metres long, the at-grade road 3,200 metres long, and the free-left at-grade stretch 2,620 metres long.
Phase 2 involves the construction of a cloverleaf interchange and free-left bypasses measuring 2,400 metres, with free-left bypasses at grade extending to 3,600 metres. Further, the work involves the development of a 180-metre cable-stayed span and ramps totalling 270 metres.
