Hapag-Lloyd to invest Rs 20,000 crore in India
Shipping and cargo firm Hapag-Lloyd has plans to invest Rs 20,000 crores in India. The investment will be made in port infrastructure, such as cargo terminals and inland logistics, Indian-flagged ships, and responsible ship recycling.
As per the firm, a big chunk will go into setting up a container terminal in the upcoming Vadhvan port and in ship recycling.
