7 National waterways to be developed in Bihar
The government is planning to develop 7 National waterways in the state of Bihar. This move aims to boost trade and position the state as a major hub for inland water transport. Minister of Rural Development and Transport Shrawan Kumar said the waterways would be developed on the Ganga, Gandak, Kosi, and Sone, with a combined length of 1,187km.
