BMC floats tender related to Mahul pumping station project
Brihanmumbai Municipal Corporation (BMC) has floated a tender for the appointment of a third-party auditor to oversee the project progress of setting up a pumping station in Mahul. As per the tender, the consultant will be also responsible for monitoring the progress of another proposed pumping station to be set up at Mogra nullah.
BMC had proposed the construction of a pumping station in Mahul in a bid to reduce flooding in the low-lying areas of the eastern suburbs and south-central Mumbai.
