Delhi government plans to add 10,000 beds in government hospitals
The state government of Delhi has plans to operate 11 government hospitals—most of them still under construction—through a public-private partnership (PPP) model. Government of Delhi aims to add 10,073 beds to Delhi’s healthcare system, including 4,314 intensive care unit (ICU) beds, through this expansion.
Out of 11 hospitals, 4 would be general hospitals and 7 ICU-bedded hospitals, spread across different parts of the city.
