Delhi Metro: Phase 4 to be operationalized by 2026
Delhi Metro Rail Corporation (DMRC) has set a deadline of 2026 for operationalising the new 65-kilometre phase 4 network. As per updates, more than 50% of work is complete on all three priority corridors.
DMRC said that though work on the fourth phase expansion project started in December 2019, progress was significantly impacted from 2020 to 2022 due to the Covid pandemic and delays in getting permission to cut trees.
