Foxconn India to build hostel complex
The India-based corporate entity owned by the Taiwanese electronics major, Foxconn India would be constructing large hostel complexes to accommodate as many as 60,000 workers. Proposed hostel would be built near its manufacturing facility in Chennai.
This development comes amid reports that the Taiwanese electronics manufacturer is ramping up production capacity for Apple devices produced in India. Company wants to quadruple its Indian workforce in the next 2 years.
