GMR Smart Electricity bags order worth Rs 7593 crore
The subsidiary of GMR Power and Urban Infra Limited (GPUIL), GMR Smart Electricity Distribution Company has bagged an order worth Rs 7,593 crore for a smart metering project in Uttar Pradesh. As per the firm the project has been secured under the Revamped Distribution Sector Scheme (RDSS) programme.
Under the order, the firm would supply 75.69 lakh prepaid smart electricity meters to Uttar Pradesh.
