GMR Smart Electricity receives LoA for order worth Rs 5,123 crore
The subsidiary of GMR Power and Urban Infra Ltd, GMR Smart Electricity has received a letter of award (LoA) from Purvanchal Vidyut Vitran Nigam (PUVVNL). LoA is for an order to implement a smart metering project in the Purvanchal area of Uttar Pradesh, including Varanasi, Azamgarh, Prayagraj, and Mirzapur.
The estimated cost to carry out the work in the Prayagraj and Mirzapur Zone is Rs 2,386.72 crore and Varanasi and Azamgarh Zone is expected to cost around Rs 2,736.65 crore.
