Government approves plans to develop 4 semiconductor factories in the the country
The central cabinet has given its nod to the establishment of four new semiconductor manufacturing units across the country for Rs 4,594 crore. As per the plan, two factories will be set up in Odisha, while one each will come up in Andhra Pradesh and Punjab.
Further, a new Indian Institute of Management will be established in Guwahati, and the Tato-II hydroelectric project has also been approved.
