HSBC plans to open 20 new branches in India
Banking firm, Hong Kong and Shanghai Banking Corporation (HSBC) has planned expansion in India. The Indian arm of the bank is looking to open 20 new branches in new locations where it is not present over the next 5 years. As per HSBC, the firm has received RBI approval for the expansion.
The bank is eyeing cities like: Amritsar, Bhopal, Bhubaneshwar, Dehradun, Faridabad, Indore, Jalandhar, Kanpur, Ludhiana, Lucknow, Mysore, Nagpur, Nashik, Navi Mumbai, Patna, Rajkot, Surat, Thiruvananthapuram, Vadodara and Vishakhapatnam.
